We offer “Mt. Batur Sunrise Trekking and Hot Springs” in SHARING, and FULL PRIVATE PACKAGE TOUR. This activity offers a hiking experience to the 2nd highest iconic volcano with a height of 1717m for about up to 2 hours. The climbers will use a headlamp, stars or moonlight to follow the trekking path.
Enjoy the beautiful sunrise and spectacular views of the Batur caldera, Mount Agung, Mount Abang and all the beautiful peaks around.
This volcano is still active today and has erupted in 1804, 1814, 1926, and the last minor eruption occurred in 2000.
We walk around the volcano to see the last eruption crater. After that we will descend the crater, past the black lava that initially flowed down during the 1st and 2nd eruptions.
“Mount Batur Sunrise Volcano Trekking” is one of the most popular adventure tours because the track is not difficult to climb, it can even be followed by children from 10 years and over.
For climbing safety, we work closely with local security forces, they will be ready to help if there is an accident. Each group of climbers will be escorted by local rangers, they work as guides who will help you during the climb.
The adventure will be continued by bathing in the beautiful Ayurveda pool of natural hot springs at the foot of the mountain.
